Aberlady Bay contains the wrecks of eight 19th or early 20th century fishing vessels and two submarines which makes it a site of historic interest. Aberlady itself is a historic conservation village.
The village and bay have wonderful sea views over to Fife, and to the South they are overlooked by Garleton Monument and open countryside. The village benefits from excellect local amenities, including a Margiotta convenience store, Aberlady Primary School, an active village hall programme of events and two excellent local pubs (Aberlady Inn and Duck’s Inn).
